The marriage of Daphne, only daughterof Mr., and Mrs. I. Smith, to William F.,youngest son of Mrs. and the late Mr. C.M. Joyce, both of Jamestown, took place atthe Jamestown Presbyterian Church onMarch 4. The Bev. W. G. Johnstone officiated.The bride was gowned in oyster pearlrighton matt-surface satin, made on prin

cess lines, falling Into ‘a long train, withtiny buttons at back to the waist and studdedwith sequin stars in front. The embroidered tulle veil was held in place by a coronetof orange blossom, finished with small

arum lilies. She carried a sheaf of whitegladioli. Her three attendants were MissesJean Smith, Margaret Carmichael, whosemother was bridesmaid to the bride’s, mother26 years ago. and Lorna Knight. Theywore full skirted frocks of silk tulle overtaffeta. Mr. A. Joyce was best man, andMessrs. A. Mattner and W. Hunter groomsmen.
