Marjorie Ann (Little) Joyce, 89, of Lincoln, died Sunday (11-17-13). Born (1-29-24) in Crab Orchard, NE to Cleve and Grace (Sheik) Little. Homemaker. Marjorie’s Christian faith has played a major role in her life. She helped start Christian Women’s Club, now called Women’s Connection, in Shenandoah, IA. Marjorie has attended and led many Bible studies over the years including Bible studies at the Grand Lodge. She and her husband founded a Youth for Christ Club in Shenandoah and were charter members of Memorial Baptist Church. She had the opportunity to play piano and organ for Pleasant Valley Baptist Church when they lived at Fairfield Bay. Marjorie enjoyed writing and has several booklets of inspirations that she had written. She also enjoyed reading, playing the piano, making quilts and working jigsaw puzzles.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela (Robert) Revell, Omaha, NE; Jane (John) Willard, Des Moines, IA, grandchildren, Mark (Jodi) Revell, Budapest, Hungary, Salena Revell (Jeff) Hirschbrunner, Lincoln, NE, Abby Revell (Rob) Fehr, Boys Town, NE, Preslie Willard (Bobby) Mekiney, Omaha, NE, Johnny (Brittany)Willard, Michael Willard, Kingwood, TX; great grandchildren; Jonah and Parker Revell, Michael and Zachary Hirschbrunner, Caleb and Elliana Fehr, Elliot and Samantha Mekiney, Noah and Olivia Willard; sister, Joy Little, Marshall, MO; sister-in-law, Elnora Joyce, Chesterfield, MO; nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, Alton Joyce and a son, Bob Joyce.
Funeral Service: 10:00 am Thursday (11-21-13) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Shenanoah, IA at 1:30 pm., the community is invited.
