She always enjoyed the community and was proud of her prairie roots. At the time of her death, she owned her father’s original homestead (1906) in the Dowd Hill district. In 2002, June moved to Saskatoon to live at Luther Riverside Terrace, where she remained for nine years. Poor health in the winter of 2011 led to a move to Kerrobert in March. June was very well cared for at Riverside and in Kerrobert. Thank you so much to Dr. Wentzel and staff at Kerrobert hospital and Buena Vista Lodge for June’s excellent and compassionate care. Funeral services will be held from the Dodsland United Church on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Marj Mack officiating.
