Clans of Ireland are applying to have the Clans placed on UNESCO register of Intangible Cultural Heritage. There notification to me on behalf of the clan stated –   “The Board of Clans of Ireland, a United Nations Civil Society Non-Governmental Organisation, has decided on behalf of its Members to submit to the Irish Minister
